Opera Theatre of St. Louis Fundraiser Invitation
Ticket sales cover only 25 percent of Opera Theatre of St. Louis’ annual operating expenses, which means fundraising is essential to sustaining their world-class programming. Key among their fundraising events is the Fall Fundraiser, and key to attracting attendees to the event is the invitation. To ensure the invitation hit all the right notes, the Opera Theatre entrusted the design to Project 13.
To complement the elegance of Monarch Restaurant & Wine Bar, which hosted the event in their art gallery, we designed the invite with a style that suggested the sophistication of the evening, and an illustration theme that subtly conveyed the theatre's ongoing growth that fundraising makes possible.
The invitations drew an enthusiastic response matched only by the turnout for the event, and the Opera Theatre enjoyed a successful fundraiser that helped support the accessible artistic legacy the London Times called "magic on the Mississippi."
