Hokey smoke! Classic Media needs a package design for the Rocky & Bullwinkle & Friends Season 3 DVD set, and it’s gotta be extra corny!

Well, if you insist. Creating a bright, colorful packaging filled with clever delights for collectors and fans, we built an endless array of details, jokes and puns into the design that encapsulates 33 tacky episodes of the series TV guide called one of the greatest of all time. We grabbed attention with “punny” show posters that went along with the side-show theme, and the package for the four-DVD set unfolds as the stage opens to reveal the master of entertainment himself, Bullwinkle J. Moose, in the spotlight and in a variety of positively goofy poses and costumes.
 
We even carried the art to the inside of the slipcase, continuing the experience, and having a bit of fun at the consumer’s expense. Wrote one fan in a Rocky & Bullwinkle online forum, “Not sure what possessed me to look inside the box, but there’s writing in it! Only I can’t read it because I’d have to ruin the box. Does anyone know what it says? This is driving me nuts!”
