On the heels of their successful self-titled EP, Watercast was ready to take the next step with a full-length record. Holing themselves up in the studio during the cold winter months, they produced Delicate Anxiety, a dark, moody album filled with brooding tunes and dead-end stories. When it came time for the album art and cover design, the tone of the graphics package needed to match the feel of the songs.
 
Project 13 talked with the band to understand the vibe they wanted to convey, and listened to the songs to get inside their heads. Collaborating with photographer Scott Smith, we built a set inside an old storefront completely surrounded by windows to create a dark, beautiful mood, and captured lush midnight images that matched the richness of the music. Those photos drove the cover design, and served as inspiration for the CD art, which added creative typography to the gritty design mix.
 
With the album quickly selling out, Watercast was ready to hit the road, and Project 13 was there to support their efforts, extending the graphics into compelling tour and promotional signage.
