To celebrate the 50th anniversary of his 1958-1959 TV series, Classic Media decided to give Felix the Cat something special: his very own DVD set, complete with all 31 full-color episodes. Digitally re-mastered and beautifully restored, the Felix The Cat Golden Anniversary Edition DVD was guaranteed to be a treat for fans and collectors, and the design of the box set needed to deliver equal delights.

Adhering to the classic style of the 1950s artwork, Project 13 designed the cover featuring Felix in his trademark laughing pose, highlighted by a high-gloss aqueous coating set on a matte finish, with gold foil lettering to emphasize the golden anniversary. The art on the discs themselves features Felix and his nemeses, Professor Nut-Meg and Rock Bottom. Partnering with renowned illustrator Patrick Owsley to develop all-new character art, Project 13 recreated his original inks in vector format to ensure crisp, clean reproduction for this classic collectible.
