No classic cartoon is smarter, cleverer, or punnier than Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends. So when Classic Media planned a DVD collection individually featuring the best of Rocky and Bullwinkle, Mr. Peabody and Sherman, Dudley Do-Right, Fractured Fairy Tales and even highlighting segments focused solely on comrades Boris and Natasha, the packaging system had to work hard as a collectible set while the design had to be smart and clever. And punny. We left no gag un-pulled.

The packaging for each disc in the set is a treat for fans young and old, featuring the beloved characters in compromising situations on the front cover and an explosion of detailed type and character art on the inside and back cover that’s guaranteed to keep moose-and-squirrel aficionados entertained for hours. And of course, there are the jokes and puns: “15 Not-So-Right Adventures” on the Dudley Do-Right cover, a parental warning for “EXTREME SILLINESS” on the Rocky and Bullwinkle cover, or typical Wardian jabs like "Impress your friends (if you have any)" inside, and more.

Thanks to the unique die-cut design we developed, the artwork on the DVD itself becomes part of the cover, allowing the reflective surface of the disc to catch the light and the consumer’s eye. The packaging was well received by the family of Jay Ward, who created the characters, and by collectors and fans, who eagerly snapped up the discs. Moose and Squirrel doink well – Clent beink happy.
